Podiatrists work across a range of clinical settings in the community and hospital environment. Podiatrists provide a comprehensive foot health service, including:
- nail surgery
- podiatric management of foot pathology for patients with the following conditions:
- diabetes,
- vascular,
- oncology,
- rheumatology and
- renal disease
- musculo-skeletal conditions/ biomechanics – the treatment of mechanical foot problems with special appliances or insoles
- Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (ICATS).
