Podiatrists work across a range of clinical settings in the community and hospital environment. Podiatrists provide a comprehensive foot health service, including:

  • nail surgery
  • podiatric management of foot pathology for patients with the following conditions: 
    • diabetes, 
    • vascular, 
    • oncology, 
    • rheumatology and 
    • renal disease
  • musculo-skeletal conditions/ biomechanics – the treatment of mechanical foot problems with special appliances or insoles
  • Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (ICATS).
