ENGAGEMENT NOW CLOSED - Draft PHA Corporate Strategy 2011/2015: Engagement process - your views matter

*** FINALISED STRATEGY NOW AVAILABLE HERE ***

The Public Health Agency (PHA) has developed a draft Corporate Strategy for the period 2011/2015, taking account of engagement and discussion with a range of stakeholders. The draft strategy has been approved by the PHA board to go out for a further period of engagement before it is finalised.

The draft Strategy has been developed reflecting the core purpose of the PHA as set out in its establishing legislation, the experience from our first two years along with Ministerial and DHSSPS targets, within the context of the financial pressures facing health and social care over the current Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) period.

The Corporate Strategy is a high level document, setting the role, direction and priorities for the PHA over the next four years. The goals set out in the strategy will be supported by annual plans detailing how they will be achieved, enabling the PHA to incorporate new priorities and challenges that may arise over this period.

We would welcome your comments on the draft strategy and have provided a set of key questions to guide your consideration of the document.  Both are available by clicking this link.

We would encourage you to read the draft Strategy, and send your comments to us (these do not have to be restricted to answering our key questions).
Responses should be returned by 4.00 pm Friday 16 September 2011 to:
