10,000 MORE Voices Initiative

We want to hear from you. As part of the 10,000 MORE Voices programme, we are gathering real experiences from people across Northern Ireland who use equipment to support independent living. Your story helps us understand what matters most to you, and everything you share is private and confidential.

10,000 MORE Voices places people at the centre of health and social care improvement. By sharing your experience, you help us understand what works well, identify challenges or gaps in support, and improve services for others who rely on similar equipment. Your insights directly shape change across Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland.

When we talk about “equipment”, we mean any items that help you live more safely, comfortably, and independently, including wheelchairs, hospital beds, minor home adaptations, electronic assistive technology, community equipment and home lifts.

Taking part is simple:

  1. Visit My Experience of Using Equipment to Live Better with a Disability - NI Direct - Citizen Space to complete the survey about your experience.
  2. If you need help or alternative formats, you can contact the 10,000 MORE Voices team at 10000morevoices@hscni.net  or call 028 9536 1124 .

By sharing your story, you help us build better, more responsive services for people across Northern Ireland who use equipment to live better with a disability.
