The report uses data from the PHA case and outbreak management system and includes laboratory confirmed notifications reported to the PHA by clinicians and laboratories. 

Reference laboratory and genomic data are not included work with United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA) reference laboratory services is ongoing with the aim of incorporating these data for future reports. 

Recent changes to the Health and Social Care laboratory information management systems, have affected data flows, and work is ongoing to re-establish laboratory-based surveillance. The findings presented in this report are based on provisional data and may revision as additional data sources become available.
