Finance and Corporate Services

Led by Leah Scott, the Finance and Corporate Services directorate supports the Public Health Agency (PHA) by providing key corporate functions that help the organisation run effectively and meet public health goals. Leah is responsible for ensuring that high-quality corporate, finance and planning services are in place to support the Chief Executive and the PHA board.

What we do

• Track how well the PHA is meeting targets set by the organisation and the Department of Health.
• Provide support services like human resources, IT, legal advice, procurement, and equality - delivered via the Business Services Organisation
• Manage finance, governance, risk, and internal policies
• Support partnership working with local Trusts, councils and public bodies.

These services ensure strong internal systems, accountability, and efficient use of resources - allowing the PHA to focus on improving and protecting health across Northern Ireland.
