Annual quality reports are a recommendation of the Department of Health in line with the implementation of the Q2020 Strategy. This is the tenth Annual Quality Report and covers the first year since the closure of the HSCB and establishment of SPPG. The aim of the report is to share information and demonstrate improvements both to those who use health and social care services and those who deliver them. 

The report was written under the following 5 strategic goals:
