Director of Public Health Annual Report 2018
The tenth Director of Public Health (DPH) Annual Report focuses on “Public health in partnership”.
The Public Health Agency aims to create the conditions in which everyone living in Northern Ireland can achieve their full health and wellbeing capacity. In order to meet this challenge, the PHA is committed to creating, maintaining and building broad partnerships with many different stakeholders.
The DPH report presents examples of partnership working that are currently being funded by the PHA in the areas of health improvement, health protection, service development, screening, and research and development.
On page 43, the report also lists core tables for 2017 relating to key statistical data, including population, birth and death rates, mortality by cause, life expectancy, immunisation and screening. The PDF containing the core tables is available here.
