Mpox clade I Africa/Multiple countries outside Africa Clade I Mpox outbreak is focused in multiple African countries. Imported clade I Mpox cases outside the African region have been reported in several countries. UK reported total of ten cases to date. One case has also been reported in Republic of Ireland. Mpox clade II UK 1 January 2023 to 28 February 2025, total of 464 cases of Mpox clade IIb reported in the UK. Of these, 428 in England, 18 were in Scotland, 10 were in Wales, and 8 were in Northern Ireland. View report
Viral Haemorrhagic Fever- Marburg virus/ Sudan virus Tanzania/Uganda On 20 January 2025, Government of Tanzania declared an outbreak of Marburg Virus Disease. Cumulative total of 10 cases, all of whom died (CFR 100%). As of 9 March, zero new confirmed cases reported. ​On 30 January 2025, Uganda reported an outbreak of Sudan Virus Disease, as of 9 March 2025, total of 14 cases (12 confirmed and 2 probable) with four deaths (CFR 28.6%) have been reported.
