Mpox clade I Africa/Multiple countries outside Africa Clade I Mpox outbreak is focused in multiple African countries. Viral Haemorrhagic Fever- Marburg virus/ Sudan virus Tanzania/Uganda On 20 January 2025, Government of Tanzania declared an outbreak of Marburg Virus Disease. Cumulative total of 10 cases, all of whom died (CFR 100%). As of 9 March, zero new confirmed cases reported. ​On 30 January 2025, Uganda reported an outbreak of Sudan Virus Disease, as of 9 March 2025, total of 14 cases (12 confirmed and 2 probable) with four deaths (CFR 28.6%) have been reported.
