Launch of the Health Impact Assessment of the Northern Ireland Cardiovascular Service Framework
Wednesday 1 June 2011
Maureen Sheehan Centre, Belfast
The Public Health Agency (PHA), supported by the Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) and many other agencies and individuals, has completed a health impact assessment (HIA) on the Cardiovascular Service Framework for Northern Ireland (CVSFW).
The launch will share the findings of the HIA and present recommendations arising from this work for future improvements of HSC services for cardiovascular health and wellbeing in Northern Ireland.
For further information on the launch please see the attachements below.
The health impact assessment has been developed from other work, including a literature review, cardiovascular health and wellbeing profile, and full technical report. All of these resources are available on the PHA website, under ‘Directorates’, ‘Service Development and Screening’. www.publichealthagency.org/directorate-public-health/service-development-and-screening
