The Voluntary Community Sector Network (VCSN) is hosting a key networking event in the field of Drugs and Alcohol. The unique event will provide an opportunity to highlight and promote the work and services available from the VCSN within the Northern area in relation to reducing harm related to Drug and Alcohol misuse.

The event aims to:

  • Highlight and promote good practice within community and voluntary groups in relation to Drugs and Alcohol.
  • Provide a forum to encourage networking and partnership working across sectors.
  • Showcase a range of funded opportunities which contribute to reducing harm related to Drugs and Alcohol.
  • Provide links with other key health related organisations which have connections to drug and alcohol issues.
  • Provide an understanding on how to refer and gain access to key voluntary community and statutory organisations and their services.

The event is relevant for:

  • Anyone/ any group who wish to gain an understanding on what is available in relation to Drugs and Alcohol within the Northern area, and how to access it
  • NHSCT staff including addictions, family services, children’s services, health improvement
  • Health professionals including G.P’s /Nurses
  • Local councillors/MLA’s

How to apply:
The event is free to attend.
Participants are encouraged to call in any time after 10am, and meet a range of organisations in a relaxed atmosphere.
No registration required.
Light refreshments will be available.
