The health of people in Northern Ireland is improving. However, the improvements are not distributed equally across all areas of our population. Individuals living in the most deprived areas of the region are at higher risk of many health conditions and have shorter life expectancies than those in the least deprived areas. These inequalities in health are unfair, and are avoidable.

This is the annual report from the Northern Ireland Hepatitis B and C Managed Clinical Network. This report aims to provide an overview of hepatitis B and C epidemiology in Northern Ireland and  although it reflects epidemiological trends over time, its main focus is on data collected in 2015. It also covers work done by the Network in 2015.
